Our Churchs' Beliefs

Doctrinal Beliefs= We are a unity minded, Jesus following, Bible believing church body. Our desire is to unleash every church member’s spiritual gift for the encouragement of all believers and future believers everywhere! We want everyone to know the Love of Jesus Christ shown by His sacrifice that is recorded in the infallible Word of God!

Core values= We know that Jesus founded the local church, and He gave up His life for everyone in it. His desire is for us all to unify and multiply! Jesus has called us to make disciples by showing and teaching the World about Plan A= Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is humanities ONLY hope! There is no plan B!! And there will never be!!!

We are not= A social club or entertainment facility: we have been called by God to equip the saints by adhering to the teachings of Jesus Christ found only in His Word. We are a group of unperfect people that have been covered by the Blood of a perfect God Man; “Jesus”. Our goal is to consciously maintain a family-oriented environment while not giving in to society’s ideas or views of what a family looks like.

We fight for men and women=

We place a high value on members as we honor the fact that every member has a name. Every name has a story and every story matters to God. We equally honor and challenge growth in men and women alike. However, our passion is equipping the men of our church, to reach the men in this world. We believe that when you prepare the men, he will lead his family to greater things.

We are uncivilized in our approach=

The enemy is aggressive; therefore, we cannot afford to be passive in the way we spread the gospel. Without compromising God’s word, we will embrace change and intentionally engage the culture through the leading of Holy Spirit through us.

We are wired to inspire=

It’s our desire to inspire everyone to dream bigger and to pursue their spiritual gifts or talents like never before. We will do all that we can to see people unleashed with new purpose through Jesus Christ. But our most crucial desire is to see all captives set free!

----Our stance on important topics----

GOD

We believe that there is only one true, living, and eternal God and that the Godhead is revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.                         “Deuteronomy 6:4, Colossians 1:15, 1Corinthians 2:11-12”

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s Word for all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any error and is our guide to living a victorious life through Jesus.   “2 Timothy 3:16”

THE TRINITY

God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.  “1 John 5:6-7”

THE FATHER

God is great: He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good! He is our Father! He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.  “Psalm 147:5, Psalm 104:24, Isaiah 64:7”

THE SON

Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He’s the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death, and through His resurrection, we receive eternal life with God!

“Philippians 2:6-8, 1 Corinthians 15:54-57, Hebrews 2:14-15”

THE HOLY SPIRIT

His presence assures us of a relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and encourages us to be more like Christ.  “2 Corinthians 1:21-22, John 16:13-15, John 16:5-11, John 14:26-27”

SALVATION

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.  “Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 2:8-9”

ETERNITY

Man was created to exist “have fellowship with God” forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God because of sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.  “Matthew 25:46, Revelation 14:11”

THE CHURCH

The church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. The church is a body of believers committed to the teachings of Christ, to obey all His commands, and we are called to take the gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.

PRAYER

Prayer is our ability to communicate with God. Through Jesus’ name, and since the veil was torn, we have access to God; we can address Him directly.

BAPTISM

Baptism is a symbolic act to publicly profess one’s salvation. It is commanded by God, but our salvation is not reliant upon it. We practice full-immersion baptism, symbolizing the process of death burial and resurrection that Jesus went through for us.

MAN

Man was made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated in the relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot have or hold onto a right relationship with God by his own effort. Every human is uniquely created by God and is worthy of respect and Christ like love.

MARRIAGE & HUMAN SEXUALITY

Marriage has been instituted by God and is described in the Bible as an exclusive covenantal union of one man and one woman striving to be in union for a lifetime. Legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage. Hence, sexual activities outside of marriage, including but not limited to adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality, and pedophilia, are inconsistent with the teachings of the Bible and the church. Further, lewd conduct, transgender activities, and the creation and/or distribution and/or viewing of pornography are behaviors that are incompatible with biblical instructions.
