At Victory Fellowship, we believe in the power of unity. One heart, one mind, and one purpose in Christ. No matter your background, your story, or where you are on your journey, you are welcome here. Come as you are, and expect to leave transformed, touched, and moved by the Glory and Grace of God.
We are more than a congregation; we are a church family. We worship together, grow together, pray together, and stand together. In every season of life, you don’t have to walk alone. There is a place for you here. There is love for you here. There is victory for you here.
Welcome home!
Born out of a vision for multi-church unity to reach the hurting with the love of Jesus, Victory Fellowship was established in 2016 under the fasted and faithful covering of Pastor Jerry Jones. We’ve been blessed to partner and share a home with Nacogdoches Community Church ever since. From the very first project Victory undertook, the “Blessing of the Backpacks” set the tone for the missional heart that still defines our church today. And while the enemy took a stand against a young, faith-filled church rising up to meet real needs in the community, our powerful God remained faithful through every season. After a time of growth—and the sometimes-painful stretching that came with it—Pastor Nick Lloyd stepped into leadership in 2019, to carry the vision forward. Accepting the challenges of COVID, finding even deeper faith through economic and financial uncertainty, and steadfast in the everyday realities of ministry, we’ve learned to lean on Jehovah Jireh as our Provider, stand firm on His Word, and keep focused on the mission He’s given us to accomplish. Today, by His Grace, we’re here doing even more of what He called us to do-reaching into the darkness of homelessness and poverty, welcoming individuals and families into genuine community, and surrounding them with the love of Jesus. The heartbeat of our church is still strong (and getting stronger!) supporting international misison in Belize, Uganda and Mexico, serving dinner every month at our local homeless shelter, offering services on location there every Sunday and visiting prisoners to minister in the local jail. Through it all, we’ve learned to depend fully on the power of prayer, the unity of the Holy Spirit, and the strength of warm, authentic fellowship. Our history is a true reflection of His Story being worked out as we remain true to the vision we were founded on: a mission-minded, collaborative church with a heart to bind up the brokenhearted and love “the least of these.”
From the beginning, Victory Fellowship has been defined by a love for the brokenhearted and a commitment to serving the community. Though we have faced many challenges, we stand firm in our faith, knowing that trials produce endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope—and hope does not disappoint because of the love of God poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:3–5). We believe in the power of prayer and have witnessed God’s provision through every difficulty. We also believe in the power of testimony—while skeptics may question facts, no one can deny a transformed life. Victory Fellowship exists to disciple fruitful followers of Jesus, unified in living out the Gospel through good works in our community and around the world, led by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are dedicated to reclaiming territory and expanding God’s Kingdom on earth until His return. Jesus said that if we follow Him, we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free (John 8:32). We are committed to sharing the truth found in the Word of God—the Bible—which is inspired by the Holy Spirit and written to guide us through life. Only by knowing the truth can we stand against falsehood. Founded in truth and rooted in love, we press forward with the goal of reaching the lost and sharing the life-changing love of Jesus that sets captives free.
Victory Fellowship was established to reach the outcast and help the hurting, with the purpose of setting captives free through the love of Jesus. We believe that people can come to God just as they are, and that He delivers those who repent from the bondage of sin. That’s why we say: Come as you are, but don’t leave as you came. We strive to create a judgment-free environment where people can find rest for their souls and experience peace in the presence of God. This transformation comes through faith in the power of the blood of Jesus.
